It is with great pleasure and confidence that we would recommend Jay Wilson to anyone looking to sell and/or purchase a home. We are now settled in and living in our dream home in Tyngsboro MA and we could not be happier with the transaction of selling our previous home and purchasing our current home with the help of Jay Wilson. During the summer of 2014, while we were at the beginning stages of researching the current market in the area, we met Jay at an open house for a property that he was the listing agent for. While we ultimately were not interested in the property he was showing that day, after talking with Jay we were immediately impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of the current market.
When we requested information about selling our home in Chelmsford, Jay met with us at our convenience and came well prepared. He clearly articulated what he thought the asking price should be for our home and provided a clear market analysis which helped us to understand the current market. He also made suggestions to help maximize our home’s appeal for potential buyers. Jay then brought in a professional photographer who did an excellent job at capturing our homes best features. We went on market on a Thursday morning. By Friday night we had a series of showings already and an offer above our asking price.
As our buyer’s agent as well, Jay showed us many properties and we never felt any pressure from him to make an offer. We greatly appreciated his knowledge of homes, required maintenance, and opinions about properties. He taught us to take the emotion out of buying a home as much as possible as there will always be another home for sale and he was right.
Jay helped to make what could be a very stressful process of buying and selling a home as easy as could possibly be. Our daughter was three months old at the time and Jay respected our particular needs as a family and helped us to make the transactions as seamless and smooth as possible. Our biggest fear when putting our house on the market was that we would end up “homeless” with a three month old, but Jay coordinated both the sale and purchase closings for the same day flawlessly.
